The Brief
Our client’s corner plot garden had become overgrown and neglected. They wanted a complete transformation to create a low-maintenance and functional space that they could enjoy in their retirement. The key objectives were usability and creating dedicated planting areas that wouldn’t overwhelm the garden again.
The Solution
We began by installing a new patio and driveway using Kandla Grey Indian Stone pavers, providing a durable and elegant surface. Continuing with the same pavers, we laid a walkway that wraps around the entire property, ensuring easy access to each garden area.
To enhance privacy without closing off the garden, we installed trellis boards around the patio. We also constructed a bespoke 7ft pergola over the patio, providing shade while still allowing sunlight to filter through. This created an ideal spot for outdoor furniture; perfect for summer relaxation.
To add colour and interest, we built a raised bed alongside the garage wall and the left-hand side boundary fence, allowing the client to plant at their leisure. Additionally, we constructed raised beds of varying heights next to the walkway, offering more opportunities for planting.
To complete the transformation, we laid new lush green turf, bringing a fresh, vibrant look to the entire garden.
